The On-Premise Territory Sales Executive will oversee field-level operations within assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional execution and providing channel expertise. This role involves managing resources, including point-of-sale materials and local budgets, while supporting consumer events to enhance brand visibility for the Mast-Jägermeister portfolio in on-premise settings. Strong communication and persuasive skills are essential for delivering brand education to accounts. The On-Premise Territory Sales Executive will proactively engage with distributor partners, plan initiatives, and address challenges related to the Mast-Jägermeister brand portfolio.
This position requires a significant market presence, with 80 – 95% of the time spent in the field (averaging 5 days per week, with 2 administrative days per month).
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Market Execution
Develop local commercial strategies to enhance brand execution and perception in the market, ensuring proper distribution of Mast-Jägermeister brands by type and size, merchandising initiatives, shelf management, and promotional activities. Guarantee superior retail execution in key accounts. Grow the Jägermeister and Teremana business in the market, adhering to channel and brand standards for optimal execution. Contribute innovative ideas and solutions for distributors and retailers within the territory. Comprehend pricing, profitability, and brand economics at the account level.Maintain Strong Relationships with Accounts
Strategically increase sales volume in designated market areas. Identify key accounts, opinion leaders, and influencers within the channel and occasion strategies. Conduct staff training sessions and tastings at accounts. Leverage local trends to inspire future programming. Implement Jägermeister brand standards focused on delivering the perfect ice-cold shot in accounts. Execute defined drink strategies while adapting to account needs to enhance menus and features.Analysis and Administrative Duties
Utilize analytical tools to assess ROI and gain insights into business performance (e.g., effectiveness of major events, consumer development activities, key account resource allocation, POS effectiveness). Monitor and track Point-Of-Sale metrics.Distributor Engagement
Lead by example and motivate the local distributor network to prioritize commercial brand and channel objectives. Manage relationships with local distributors at the account level. Act as the brand ambassador, promoting and educating consumers, accounts, and distributors about the history and production of the Mast-Jägermeister portfolio.Qualifications:
1–5 years of experience in Sales, preferably within the spirits or beverage industry, or a related combination of education and experience; a college degree is preferred. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal). Proven track record in developing account strategies and executing them to achieve results. Willingness to learn and adopt the Jägermeister sales approach. Excellent relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset. Detail-oriented and organized; exceptional time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects. Well-developed influence and negotiation skills; persistent and persuasive. Frequent travel within the territory is required; must possess a valid driver's license and vehicle for travel between accounts. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).Benefits:
