Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality assurance support and spearhead root cause analysis initiatives aimed at elevating both internal and external quality standards, thereby enhancing overall customer satisfaction with our products.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts related to product and manufacturing processes, collaborating closely with Quality Engineers.
  • Conduct process validations, in-process inspections, and monitor and analyze the quality of manufacturing processes and products.
  • Support design, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams with data collection, analysis, product evaluations, and process capability assessments.
  • Understand, comply with, and develop processes that align with Quality Management Systems (QMS) objectives, while also training personnel to adhere to QMS standards.
  • Perform internal ISO standard audits and provide audit support in designated areas.
  • Prepare formal documented First Article Inspection (FAI) reports suitable for customer or internal use as required.
  • Utilize appropriate measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional specifications.
  • Effectively communicate with relevant departments as necessary, including Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Quality, Customer Service, Production Planning, and Logistics.

Additional Duties:
  • Lead and/or assist in maintaining the calibration status of inspection, testing, and measurement equipment.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and process-related documents; knowledge of GD&T is a plus.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of Air Conditioning equipment operations is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the quality or manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and techniques.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) is preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capability to interpret order requirements, quotes, and drawings, and draw logical conclusions.
  • Experience with precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, paint mill gauges, etc.).
  • Skilled in identifying root causes of routine issues and formulating recommendations for resolution.
  • Ability to interpret and apply Quality Systems / ISO procedures and documentation.
  • Comfortable using computer systems and software, including MS Office Applications and ERP Systems (JD Edwards is a plus).
