Job Title: Financial Technology Manager

This is a key leadership role responsible for the design and implementation of policies, rules, and systems that support the company's Financial Data Governance initiative.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical infrastructure, compliance, and security over applications carrying financial data and applicable access to the company's environments.

The manager will be responsible for documenting and ensuring appropriate financial data access between all finance applications, systems, and user access.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a strategy to create a roadmap for Financial Technology by partnering with the business
  • Designing and implementing policies, rules, and systems that support Data Governance
  • Evaluating technical infrastructure of both on-prem and cloud-related areas where financial data is stored
  • Ensuring policies are in place to provide appropriate security access levels
  • Conducting Data Quality Assessments for financial data used within the company
  • Ensuring compliance with Data Privacy regulations
  • Overseeing BI/AI report development strategy and data security
  • Providing technical governance over financial infrastructure
  • Ensuring User Acceptance and Security Access, Deactivation, and Compliance Reviews are completed to audit standards
  • Providing direction, guidance, and support to Project Managers and Business Analysts

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience in a managerial role with a background in finance, IT, data governance, and infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of financial data analysis tools and systems such as Oracle Financials, BI analytics, cloud, and local data warehouses
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage time and engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously at a fast pace
