Job Summary

The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization, specifically focused on behavioral health. This role requires a strong understanding of adolescent mental health and the ability to provide individualized care to patients aged 13-18.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the adolescent psychiatric unit
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families

Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kentucky Board of Nursing
  • BLS required from American Heart Association
  • Associate Degree from accredited nursing program
  • Ability to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training and successful completion during new hire orientation
