LPN - Adolescent Behavioral Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Adolescent Behavioral Health team at UofL Health. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients aged 13-18 who require hospitalization for mental health emergencies.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in crisis prevention and intervention training to ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients.
- LPN credentialed from the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Completion of an LPN program at an accredited school of nursing.
- Ability to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training.
