Sales Manager Assistant

Everstory Partners is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading by example and demonstrating exceptional customer care for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the attainment of assigned sales quotas by overseeing sales and service at a specific location to maximize sales.
- Coach and counsel all assigned Sales Staff to ensure the highest quality servicing of existing customers.
- Train all assigned sales staff to ensure the best possible results from presentations to current and potential customers.
- Review prior days results and appointments to provide recommendations on issues that may have surfaced.
- Meet with clients both on and off site to develop Family History Folder, including listing of Association and Clubs deceased was a member of, pallbearers, and all family members.
- Scheduling all Family Service employees on a regular or rotating basis, ensuring coverage at all times.
- Ensuring staff is providing at-need clients with all options and services available, including tours of the site and plot locations.
- Responding to routine and non-routine problems, as they occur within the site that may impact and involve coordination and solutions with other departments at that location.

- This position requires a significant ability to empathize with grieving families through a time of heightened emotion. Emotional intelligence and the ability to maintain professionalism are required skills.
- One to two years of direct sales experience, preferably in the Cemetery industry, or 2-3 years experience outside the industry. At least one year of supervisory or management experience, preferably within a sales capacity.
- Ability to implement new and effective methods of increasing sales in a competitive environment.
- Possesses influence and the ability to interact and collaborate with people at all levels and in a team atmosphere.
- Strong organization skills with an ability to effectively and quickly complete tasks and assignments and meets deadlines.
- High school diploma required
- Must possess a valid state driver's license.
