Job Title: Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality, one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to provide medical care and support to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients in their homes
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide wound care as needed
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the physician or case manager
  • Document patient progress and care provided in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • One year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in home health or hospice care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
