Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse RN.

Job Summary

The Private Duty Nurse RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care, promoting patient independence, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum 6 months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
