Private Duty Nurse RN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to medically fragile children and adults in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities:- Implement and manage individualized care plans in accordance with physician orders and patient needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed, while maintaining accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with the care team to address patient concerns, changes in condition, and other issues that may impact patient care.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- One year of experience in pediatrics or a related field (dependent on state requirements).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
