Job Overview

Talis Group, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead sales efforts throughout the East Coast U.S. region into the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration in the East Coast region.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs within manufacturing industries.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely reporting.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align strategies and meet customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering or business or commensurate experience.
  • Proven experience in direct sales with minimum of 5 years of regional sales experience in B2B.
  • Technical and/or capital equipment sales experience highly preferred.
  • Experience in the recruitment of new sales partners.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • SIGNIFICANT TRAVEL REQUIRED ALONG THE EAST COAST REGION.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strategic mindset.
  • Experience using a CRM system and MS Office programs.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including an estimated salary of $80,000 per year, with potential total compensation ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 (base plus commission). Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes full benefits coverage.
