About the Job

In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality patient care as a Registered Nurse in our dynamic Inpatient Department at Alamance Regional Medical Center. This position is ideal for an experienced nurse looking to travel and explore new locations while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver compassionate and individualized care to patients with complex medical conditions, including stroke (neuro) population.
  • Manage patient ratios of 1:5-6, ensuring timely interventions and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Perform various procedures, such as accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs, CVA, and nasal cannula.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current state license as a registered nurse in North Carolina.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Telemetry or Neurology.
  • EPIC experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Work Schedule

This Night shift position requires flexibility, with expected work every other weekend and holidays as needed. You will be required to float between all Cone Health facilities, providing opportunities to learn and grow within the organization.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and a generous sign-on bonus. As a traveling nurse specialist, you will have the opportunity to advance your career and earn additional income through overtime and bonuses.
