Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will provide psychiatric management for adults in an acute inpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for adult patients in an acute inpatient setting
  • Manage electronic medical records (EPIC) in accordance with New York State Office of Mental Health regulations
  • Collaborate with consultants as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide clinical supervision to psychiatry residents and medical students
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited medical school (MD/DO)
  • Hold New York State license and DEA registration
  • ACGME accredited residency in Psychiatry
  • ABPN certification (or eligibility if within five years of graduation) in Psychiatry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Superior clinical, interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines in the evaluation and care of patients
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
