Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will provide psychiatric management for adults, age 18 and up, in an acute inpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with New York State Office of Mental Health and other regulations.
- Collaborate with consultants as indicated by patient needs.
- Provide clinical supervision to psychiatry residents and medical students.
- Work with the interdisciplinary treatment team to manage complex cases.
- Participate in didactic training programs for psychiatric residents, medical students, psychology interns, and other trainees.
- Contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited medical school (MD/DO).
- Hold New York State license and DEA registration.
- ACGME accredited residency in Psychiatry.
- ABPN certification (or eligibility if within five years of graduation) in Psychiatry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Superior clinical, interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines in the evaluation and care of patients.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual Base Salary: $236,900* (board eligible); $247,200* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
- Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000.
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
