UI Developer

Position Overview:

We are in search of a UI developer who is eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic team focused on tackling complex issues for our intelligence community. Our work environment is fast-paced, collaborative, inclusive, and iterative. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with and a keen interest in utilizing Angular, Typescript, Jasmine, Cypress, and other technologies to ensure comprehensive and effective UI testing. This role will evolve to encompass the development of intuitive new features for a user interface currently serving hundreds of daily users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess existing test coverage and identify additional tests to enhance overall coverage.
  • Adhere to software engineering best practices, including the implementation of features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Over 3 years of experience in software development using Typescript with Angular.
  • Proficient in writing Jasmine tests.
  • Experience with or a willingness to learn Cypress test development.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments.
  • Possession of a Security + certification, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with OpenLayer maps and/or D3 visualization libraries.
  • Familiarity with GitLab, Jira, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio Code IDE.
