UI Developer

Position Overview:

We are in search of a UI developer who is eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic team focused on resolving complex issues for our intelligence sector. Our environment is fast-paced, collaborative, inclusive, and iterative in nature. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with and a keen interest in utilizing Angular, Typescript, Jasmine, Cypress, and other technologies to ensure thorough and effective UI testing. This role will evolve to encompass the development of intuitive new features for a user interface currently serving hundreds of daily users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess existing test coverage and identify additional tests to enhance overall coverage.
  • Adhere to software engineering best practices, including the implementation of features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of software development experience using Typescript with Angular.
  • Proficiency in writing Jasmine tests.
  • Experience with or a willingness to learn Cypress test development.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments.
  • Possession of Security + certification, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of OpenLayer maps and/or D3 visualization libraries.
  • Experience with GitLab, Jira, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio Code IDE.
