Position Overview:
Under the guidance of the Production Supervisor, the Production Assembler plays a vital role in the manufacturing sector. This role encompasses various responsibilities including the preparation of components, assembly of subcomponents and machinery, as well as additional tasks as needed.

This position is crucial for ensuring that machinery is assembled in accordance with our quality benchmarks and productivity goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Prepare parts for utilization in the assembly zone.
  • Construct components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
  • Interpret and understand schematics, blueprints, and assembly guidelines.
  • Position or align components and parts, either manually or with the aid of hoists.
  • Utilize hand tools or power tools for assembly tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace and equipment, including tools.
  • Document activities by completing production and quality records.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to work with minimal supervision at times.
  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • High School diploma or GED, or prior experience in an assembly role.
  • Experience with powered and non-powered hand tools such as drivers, ratchets, drills, and saws.
  • Basic understanding of blueprint interpretation.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a non-climate-controlled setting.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions:

This role is situated in a manufacturing facility characterized by limited HVAC, concrete flooring, and exposure to industrial noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures.


Physical Demands:
The job entails activities that require walking, bending, twisting, gripping, and climbing stairs and ladders. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required to comply with safety regulations whenever engineered methods of hazard reduction or physical requirements cannot be reasonably accommodated.
