Front Desk Agent

At MGM Resorts International, we're looking for a talented Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their stay with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests to the property and the MGM Resorts family by providing exceptional service and anticipating their needs.
  • Manage early and late property arrivals/departures and walk-ins, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for our guests.
  • Enhance guest experience through offering upgraded accommodations where available and partnering with Housekeeping and other related departments to meet guest expectations and special requests.
  • Ensure correct charges and credits are posted, collect payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and demonstrate responsibility in balancing all cash and cash equivalent transactions using property cash handling procedures.
  • Control and issue keys while promoting security, privacy, and confidentiality of all guests while providing a relaxing and hassle-free experience from start to finish.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent educational experience.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Six (6) months experience in guest services focused role.
  • Six (6) months face-to-face guest service experience.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) platform.
  • Cash-handling experience.
