Sales Director

Gecko Hospitality is seeking a seasoned sales leader to helm the sales operations within the Quad Cities & Peoria area. As the Area Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with market trends and company objectives.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales managers, promoting best practices and a high-performance culture.
- Performance Monitoring: Set clear sales goals, monitor individual and team performance, and implement necessary adjustments to achieve targets.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market dynamics and trends to identify opportunities for expansion and enhancement of sales strategies.
- Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to inform decision-making at the executive level.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and managing high-performing teams.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of market trends and customer behaviors within the hospitality sector.
