Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, processing public information requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share intelligence and best practices, enhancing our department's capabilities and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Meet the minimum requirements for Police Officer classification and possess two years of related experience.
  • Hold a TCOLE Intermediate Peace Officer Proficiency Certificate and a TCOLE Instructor Proficiency Certificate.
  • Possess a strong understanding of law enforcement procedures, policies, and protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field.
  • Three years of police investigative experience, with a proven track record of success.
Work Environment

This is a security-sensitive position, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule, with on-call and overtime duties as needed.
