Job Summary

ChenMed is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will provide direct patient care in our medical centers, focusing on geriatric assessment, medical history, physical exam, diagnosis, and treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage acute and non-acute clinical problems in geriatric patients
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, including medication orders and laboratory studies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care and transitions
  • Participate in patient care rounds and conferences to communicate patient management strategies
  • Recognize situations requiring immediate physician attention and initiate life-saving procedures when necessary
Requirements
  • ARNP or similar advanced degree in Nursing required
  • Current Nurse Practitioner Certification in the State of practice required
  • Board certification by AANP or ANCC preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross required
