Associate Director-Behavioral Health Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Division Director to oversee our Behavioral Health Services programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple grant agreements, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with program requirements and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee multiple grant agreements and funding sources, ensuring compliance with grant commitments and expectations of program funders and VOA.
- Supervise and evaluate staff members, ensuring compliance with job descriptions and established best practice standards.
- Develop and implement community design and outreach plans in collaboration with community partners, subject to review and approval by program funders.
- Conduct regular internal reviews of program components, monitoring for compliance with program requirements and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategic action plans for outreach and service delivery, utilizing program data to inform decision-making.
- Ensure program staff provide accurate and timely documentation, adhere to confidentiality, record-keeping, reporting, and data entry and collection standards.
- Coordinate activities among community partners across wide geographic areas, actively collaborating with the local Continuum of Care.
- Assist in preparation of regular grant applications, updates, or requests for information.
- Develop, implement, and sustain behavioral health services across organizational divisions.
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
- Active LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent licensure in the State of Colorado.
- 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Must possess a Colorado driver's license and state-mandated automobile insurance.
- Must possess a personal vehicle that may be used for work-related travel (reimbursement for mileage is available).
- Must complete agency and program credentialing within 12 weeks of hire and maintain credentialing standards thereafter.
- Demonstrated pursuit, award, and continued/successful maintenance of private, local, state, and federal grants or contracts.
- 4 years of supervisory experience.
- Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) Certification.
- Demonstrated ability to fulfill relevant program compliance and administrative requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams of human service professionals.
- Demonstrated grant writing abilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
- Demonstrated skillsets in financial management, operational management, grants/contacts management, and personnel management.
- Ability to inspire, train, mentor, and lead teams.
- Ability to respectfully and professionally serve individuals hailing from diverse backgrounds, cultures, ideologies, and religions.
- Ability to work and thrive within a diverse, multicultural team environment.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to apply appropriate self-care in the face of often difficult and/or traumatic situations which commonly present while working with persons in need of services.
