Job Summary

Praxis Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Storage Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement storage architectures to meet the needs of our customers
  • Develop and maintain storage infrastructure, including NAS, SAN, and cloud storage solutions
  • Provide daily support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of storage systems
  • Manage storage infrastructure and related processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure uptime, plan expanded offerings, and resolve user issues

Requirements

  • Experience designing, operating, and maintaining storage technologies (NAS, SAN, DFS, back-up, and archives)
  • Strong understanding of storage architectures, operations, and solutions, including Hitachi, IXsystems, Rubrik, and Weka
  • Ability to provide second-level problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
  • Experience with storage systems management software and ability to install, maintain, monitor, and conduct advanced analysis of output and performance
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document storage architectures and system diagrams
  • Minimum of six years of professional experience, a bachelor's degree with a minimum of nine years of professional experience, or no degree with a minimum of twelve years of professional experience

Clearance

Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role.
