About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team of experienced professionals at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our cloud computing infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in designing, defining, developing, testing, and debugging cloud solution components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and AWS.
  • Collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers to design and develop cloud infrastructure components.
  • Work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and automate builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments.
  • Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve issues in CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
  • Manage clusters using Azure Kubernetes Service and write scripts using tools like Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Boto3.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud computing infrastructure architecture and design.
  • 5+ years of experience with DevOps and automation tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud-native solutions, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Boto3.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Security Engineering or Cyber Engineering Certification.
  • AWS Certification.
