Psychological Services Coordinator

The Gates-Chili Central School District is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our Student Support Services department, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological services to students, teachers, and parents/guardians.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and testing to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support students' academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to provide targeted interventions and support services.
- Provide counseling and therapy services to students, individually and in groups.
- Assist with the identification and placement of students with special needs.
- Develop and maintain accurate and complete records of student information.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support for students.
- NY State Certification as a School Psychologist.
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology.
- Successful prior experience in a school setting, preferably with a diverse population of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other staff members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
The School Psychologist will work in a standard office and school building environment, with occasional travel to district buildings and professional meetings.
