Position Overview
The University of Oklahoma is in search of a dedicated professional to take on the role of Academic Integrity Director. This position entails the formulation and execution of programs aimed at upholding academic integrity among students, managing office operations, and collaborating with faculty, staff, and students to evaluate existing policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Office of Academic Integrity with vision and direction
- Address academic integrity cases promptly and equitably
- Handle grievances related to academic integrity issues
- Collaborate with senior management on integrity-related concerns
- Oversee the operational budget effectively
- Conduct discussions with students accused of violations
- Facilitate integrity awareness workshops and presentations
- Provide guidance to the Academic Integrity Council
- Supervise conduct hearings and appeals processes
- Enhance and maintain social media channels
- Spearhead policy formulation and execution
Requirements:
A Master's degree along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in policy formulation is essential.
Skills:
- Expertise in policy and procedural development
- Proficient in interpreting regulations
- Knowledge of compliance standards
- Experience in delivering presentations
- Excellent communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous management experience
- Possession of a J.D. or Ph.D.
- Experience in higher education settings
- Familiarity with investigative processes
