Job Summary

The Director of Commercial Data Strategy & Operations will be responsible for understanding the data needs across the enterprise and managing UroGen's commercial data foundation. This role will oversee the development of an integrated enterprise data strategy, data acquisition and integration, data management and stewardship, and functional oversight of day-to-day data processing and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive overall strategy, methodology, and roadmap for commercial data platforms with high integrity
  • Establish and manage a structured centralized process for data acquisition, including evaluation of data providers, selection and acquisition, on-boarding, and ongoing management of third-party data
  • Direct the design and management of data governance, including policies, business rules, and decisions to ensure a single source of truth across internal and external data
  • Implement and oversee data quality management, including policies and processes for managing and consistently producing quality data across onboarding, integration, and issue management
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in data, commercial operations, IT, analytics, or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Data Science, or related field
  • Strategic mindset with demonstrated experience in implementing data strategy, governance frameworks, and driving continuous improvement
  • Knowledge and experience with business systems requirements analysis, data and analytics platforms, and process quality management
  • Experience across a variety of life sciences commercial data use cases, such as targeting, forecasting, promotional analytics, etc.
Technical Qualifications
  • Data Governance: Understanding of data governance principles, best practices, compliance, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Data Integration: Experience with data integration tools and techniques for combining data from disparate sources, APIs, and systems
  • Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for scalable storage, computation, and analytics
  • Data Warehousing: Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with platforms like Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery
Desired Qualifications
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java for data manipulation, automation, and model development
  • Advanced Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques
