Bristol Myers Squibb is a leading biopharmaceutical company dedicated to transforming patients' lives through science. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Director to join our team in Princeton, NJ.

The Commercial Director, WW CV Commercial Pipeline Assets, Business Development, Strategy will be responsible for leading the development and execution of commercial strategies for our WW CV Commercial Pipeline Assets. This includes building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, identifying and developing strategic relationships with advocacy organizations, medical societies, and thought leaders, and communicating the commercial case and brand strategy to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial development, marketing, and strategy, with a proven track record of success in driving business growth and improving market share. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies for WW CV Commercial Pipeline Assets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including advocacy organizations, medical societies, and thought leaders
  • Communicate the commercial case and brand strategy to senior leadership
  • Identify and develop strategic relationships with advocacy organizations, medical societies, and thought leaders
  • Manage the effective transfer of late Phase 3 development assets into the commercial teams
  • Build brand characteristics, including naming, scientific branding, brand positioning, and differentiation strategies
  • Assess potential BD opportunities and work with BI&A and cross-functional partners to develop forecasts and models to support decision-making

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS/MBA required; terminal degree preferred (PhD/PharmD)
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare related industry in marketing or related role, scientific/clinical experience a plus
  • Commercial Development/New Product Planning experience and WW experience preferred, ability to analyze clinical and scientific data required
  • Experience in the therapeutic areas of Cardiovascular particularly Cardiomyopathies, Heart Failure, Thrombosis, with additional areas preferred (e.g., dyslipidemia, cardio-kidney-metabolic areas)
