Job Summary:

The Office Specialist is a vital member of our team at Doctor's Choice Home Care & Hospice Texas, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing exceptional patient relations. This role requires close collaboration with the Office Manager/Regional Vice President of Operations, as well as staff, physicians, and outside resources to coordinate care, resolve patient issues, and schedule appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day office activities to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Work closely with the Office Manager to orient, train, and direct staff on office policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families.
  • Coordinate care and resolve patient issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing office resources.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in scheduling, home health, hospice, or healthcare preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
