About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Granbury Care Center. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical plant and equipment are maintained in safe and efficient working order.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and maintain heating and air conditioning systems, boilers, water systems, and other basic physical plant and equipment items.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Experience with heating and air conditioning, boiler and water systems, washers, dryers, emergency power generators, and other basic physical plant and equipment items.
  • Understanding of principles of preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management.
