Commission Analyst

ConnectWise is a leading software company with a global presence, dedicated to empowering technology solution providers to succeed. As a Commission Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of contract opportunities within our corporate business applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze the accuracy of deal value inquiries against business rules and parameters.
- Provide support to payroll and FP&A teams with a high attention to detail.
- Ensure commission or sales incentive payments are properly processed.
- Accurately calculate commissions for the sales team based on bookings and provide support for commission payouts.
- Work with Finance and Sales Operations to ensure employee commission plans are properly created, maintained, and updated in the commission system.
- Research, analyze, and document findings.
- Coach and review the work of other team members.
- Maintain data integrity and proper deal economics in Salesforce.
- Review opportunity values across company platforms for accuracy and make necessary adjustments.
- Communicate deal changes to relevant teams.
- Process commission clawbacks for the Sales team.
- Analyze, identify, and recommend areas for process improvements to reduce the risk of errors.
- Research and resolve data discrepancies as needed.
- Report on team data monthly and maintain tight deadlines.
- Implement process improvement plans and proactively identify issues.
- Act as a subject matter expert on commissions or deal value-related inquiries.
- Ability to manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision.
- Advanced knowledge of applicable work areas.
- Ability to adapt to new technology and processes as per business requirements.
- Ability to follow and reinforce standard operating procedures.
- Strong knowledge of the general quote-to-cash process.
- Ability to meet firm deadlines with multiple, ongoing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent business experience.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred: Experience with commissions and/or contract processing.
- Preferred: Experience with Salesforce.
- Onsite/Hybrid/Remote depending on location.
- 0-10% travel may be required.
- May require flexible working hours.
