Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, including guest check-ins, member retention, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute procedures as outlined in the Front Desk manual
  • Answer phones, take messages, and transfer calls
  • Stay knowledgeable about club amenities and surroundings
  • Communicate effectively with members, using their names and providing kind and sincere service
  • Attend all staff and club meetings and events
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with members and staff
  • Ensure the Front Desk is clean, maintained, and organized at all times
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations
Expectations
  • Present a professional demeanor at all times, representing Genesis Health Clubs
  • Contribute to developing strategies to support club goals and objectives
  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from members
Requirements
  • Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start date
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Experience in cash handling and credit cards
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 35 pounds, and communicate effectively
