Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Climate Change Program Manager to join our team and lead our efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Oregon. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders, policymakers, and community leaders to advance our mission.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in policy development, advocacy, and coalition building. You will be responsible for developing and implementing policy proposals, engaging with diverse stakeholders, and representing our organization in public forums.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policy proposals to advance our climate change goals
  • Engage with stakeholders, including policymakers, community leaders, and business representatives
  • Represent our organization in public forums, such as legislative hearings and media events
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, policy, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in policy development, advocacy, and coalition building
  • Strong understanding of climate change policy and its implications for Oregon
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year
