Lead Patient Service Coordinator Float/Coverage

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Patient Service Coordinator to join our team at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation. As a Lead Patient Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient services, providing exceptional patient care, and leading a team of Patient Service Coordinators.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the outpatient Patient Service Coordinator staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with outpatient therapy management and department leadership to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to improve patient care and staff performance.
- Participate in the interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluation of staff performance.
- Provide guidance and support to Patient Service Coordinators, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles.
- Proven experience in patient service coordination, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling software.
