Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Services Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site support, participating in the Rapid Response Team, and assisting with day-to-day troubleshooting and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for IT support, dispatching to expedite support and participating in the Rapid Response Team.
  • Assist the network support team and other infrastructure teams with day-to-day troubleshooting and projects.
  • Support the Client SPOC with high-priority ticket investigation and resolution.
  • Assist the local hardware support team with printer and shopfloor peripheral checks.
  • Provide assistance to the hardware support team with applications or processes.
  • Coordinate incident resolution related to application support in the manufacturing plant.
  • Act as the SPOC for BUIT, Local support, and external vendors.
  • Resolve connection issues with weighing scales, including replacement of defective MOXA and related network components.
  • Coordinate with MLL Workstation engineering (WESS) team to resolve OS and workstation build issues.
  • Test connectivity for network changes, including wireless, and patching.
  • Coordinate with application owners to install client applications and ensure they launch as expected.
  • Coordinate with equipment vendors for repair and maintenance.
  • Initial troubleshooting for application issues and provide coordination/escalation to resolution/conclusion.
  • Support base business-related IQ/OQ testing and technical change control activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in handling site IT support and incident management.
  • Conversant with ITIL process (Service/Asset management).
  • Knowledgeable in network infrastructure.
  • Knowledgeable on multiple Operating Systems, DB's.
  • Ability to work independently and provide support off-business hours.
  • MES knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Multi-tasking capabilities with excellent coordination skills.
  • Worked in pharma/manufacturing plant is an added advantage.
Additional Requirements
  • Manufacturing experience with IT-Infra knowledge.
  • Cross-team/department coordination.
  • Project experience.
  • ITIL knowledge would be preferable.
  • Knowledge of GxP would be an added advantage.
