Job Summary

We're seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our operations in a specific portfolio of properties. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and fostering strong relationships with our homeowners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee operations in the assigned location, managing a portfolio of properties and ensuring seamless guest experiences.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, providing proactive communication and expert guidance on property maintenance and care.
  • Meet and maintain Vacasa standards and metrics, including NPS, unit appearance, and efficiency.
  • Manage a budget for your portfolio, performing cost-benefit analyses and ensuring adherence to annual costs.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team, providing training, coaching, and support to ensure they're effective and adhere to Vacasa policies and procedures.
  • Support your team with escalated guest and homeowner concerns, responding to emails, calls, and tickets.
  • Conduct regular inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals, and perform occasional housekeeping and maintenance duties.
  • Travel between worksites frequently, requiring reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Partner with your Business Development Representative to onboard new units and establish relationships with regional team members and upper management.
  • Provide cross-coverage for your manager and Co-GM(s) as needed.
Requirements
  • Technical computer skills on various hardware platforms.
  • Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, early mornings, and evenings as needed.
  • Professional communication skills, including email, phone calls, video calls, and texts.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly responsive and reliable.
  • Prior housekeeping experience a plus.
