Position Summary
Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Analyst II will play a crucial role in executing the organization's Supply Chain strategies and activities. This position demands strong analytical capabilities, negotiation skills, and expertise in inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively engage in safety initiatives to enhance workplace safety.
  • Oversee the planning and procurement of raw materials and finished products necessary for production.
  • Manage vendor relationships concerning raw materials and finished goods.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities within assigned categories.
  • Support the implementation of efficient processes at the manufacturing facility.
  • Conduct independent analyses of assigned materials.
  • Initiate and generate purchase orders for material acquisition.
  • Ensure the availability of required materials.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels for assigned materials.
  • Assist in the Cycle Counting Program to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate the root causes of material shortages.
  • Collaborate with various departments regarding material availability.
  • Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and shipping teams.
  • Keep detailed records of purchased items and inventory levels.
  • Exhibit database management skills by entering purchasing data accurately.
  • Administer documentation related to Supply Chain operations.
  • Negotiate claims and resolve supplier-related issues.
  • Oversee activities associated with Supply Chain processes.
  • Analyze market trends and industry conditions.
  • Develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for materials.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals critically.
  • Research and recommend alternative suppliers as needed.
  • Create and implement tracking reports for commodities and categories.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or Business Analytics.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
  • Preferred certifications include Institute of Supply Management Certification and A.P.I.C.S. Certification.
  • Demonstrated creativity, independence, and knowledge in the field.
  • Strong willingness to learn and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to navigate a matrix environment and engage with all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and data collection.
  • Ability to work autonomously with sound decision-making skills.
