About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler II to join our team at Powell Industries. As a Mechanical Assembler II, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating mechanical components according to customer specifications and engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and fabricate mechanical components using various tools and equipment
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and components
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience with mechanical assembly and fabrication
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Working Conditions

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires working in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols.
