Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Manager to join our team at Heritage Environmental Services. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Incident Investigation: Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and develop corrective measures to prevent future incidents.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development programs to ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Regulatory Affairs: Represent the company in interactions with regulatory agencies, such as OSHA, EPA, and DOT, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Assist in the development and management of the EHS budget, and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a technical resource and mentor for employees, and collaborate with management to ensure effective communication and implementation of EHS policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, safety, or engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS-related programs, with a strong background in hazardous waste management.
  • Knowledge and Abilities: Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the environmental services industry, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
