Position Overview

The Catering Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the event operations team to ensure the smooth execution of catering services and events. This position involves setting up events, transporting necessary equipment, food, and supplies, serving guests during events, and managing the clean-up process post-event.

COMPENSATION: The hourly wage for this role ranges from $10.00 to $21.08, representing Aramark's good faith estimate of compensation for this position at the time of posting.

Key Responsibilities


• Prepare catering and event services in accordance with client specifications and event orders.

• Transport and deliver food and beverage items along with essential supplies and equipment.

• Arrange chairs, tables, buffet lines, and other event equipment as outlined in the event order.

• Restock food and beverage items throughout the event.

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of food service areas during events.

• Collect and clean up food and beverage items after service.

• Dismantle and tidy the area following the conclusion of events and return equipment to proper storage.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all attendees.

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications


• Prior experience in customer service is preferred.

• Experience in catering is advantageous.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Compliance with the designated dress code is required.

• Availability to work during events is essential.

• Completion of Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as required.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be necessary.
