Database Administrator

IPT Associates is seeking a seasoned Database Administrator to join our team of technical experts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the uptime and performance of our database systems.

Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in database management systems, including design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve complex database issues.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication with cross-functional teams, including developers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure database uptime and performance.
  • Implement and manage access control, monitor user access, and performance of database systems.
  • Develop, manage, and test installations, upgrades, replication, backup, and recovery of current databases.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline.
  • Three years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Sec + or other IAT Level II certification.
  • Active Security clearance.
