About the Role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our guests, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising restaurant staff, ensuring quality product and service to customers.
  • Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline restaurant staff for efficient operation.
  • Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings to communicate pertinent information to staff.
  • Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments, evaluating team members on a timely basis to ensure consistent high standards of service.
  • Interact positively with customers, promoting hotel facilities and services, and resolving problems to satisfaction.
  • Maintain rapport with all departments and attend relevant meetings.
  • Monitor food quality and service actions, verifying temperatures, judging appearance and taste, and checking preparation methods.
  • Ensure profitability of the outlet, controlling payroll and equipment costs, and evaluating cost effectiveness.
  • Utilize computer systems to accurately charge customers, create forecasts, and generate revenue reports.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a restaurant management role is preferred.
