Laboratory Supervisor Embryology

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Supervisor Embryology to join our team in Hartsdale, New York.
Job Summary:The Laboratory Supervisor Embryology will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Andrology and Endocrine labs, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and laboratory results. This role will involve managing laboratory staff, developing and implementing quality control procedures, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise laboratory staff and ensure compliance with laboratory policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable laboratory results.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory results and patient information.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve any issues or concerns related to laboratory operations.
- Participate in laboratory coverage on a weekend and holiday rotation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Chemical, Physical or Biological Science.
- NYS Department of Education Clinical Licensed Technologist (CLT) certification required within 3 years of being employed.
- General knowledge of operation of web-based QC platforms, electronic medical records, and document control platforms.
- Rigorous QA and QC regarding handling of specimens and extreme care and caution in labeling and handling specimens.
