Community Care Alliance is seeking a Per Diem Behavioral Health Worker to join our team.

Job Summary

The Acute Stabilization Unit in Providence has an opening for a Per Diem Behavioral Health Worker (BHW). BHWs maintain a safe and supportive environment for individuals experiencing substance abuse and mental health crisis on our voluntary treatment unit.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
  • Assist with admissions, safety checks, recreational and therapeutic activities
  • Promote client recovery, understand the impact of trauma, prioritize client safety, and respond to crisis
  • Work collaboratively with the treatment team to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. Must be willing to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends.
