Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Providence, RI. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for providing behavior support and intervention services to students, working closely with teachers, staff, and families to implement strategies that promote positive behavioral changes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and design individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement strategies that promote positive behavioral changes
- Provide direct support, training, and consultation to ensure the success of behavior plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of individualized education programs
- Monitor and track the progress of students, adjusting interventions as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 1+ years experience as a Behavior Specialist
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
