Job Title: Factory Automation Integration Specialist

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. We're seeking a highly skilled Factory Automation Integration Specialist to join our team and contribute to the success of our mission.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the integration of new automated equipment into our manufacturing ecosystem
  • Electrical system modification of industrial control and safety systems
  • Debug and modification of PLC and Robot programs
  • Support the commissioning of SCADA applications (Ignition, Kepware, AWS, etc.)
  • Production support function for sophisticated manufacturing equipment
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience with common automation control systems (ex. PLC's, Robots, CNC)
  • 3+ years experience with controls and automation software development environments (ex. Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley Control Logix)
  • A demonstrated ability to interpret and review electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Strong skills for design and process simplification
  • Ability to communicate optimally, clearly, and with humility to partners
  • An understanding of world-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
