We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at Chemours. This role will report directly to the External Reporting Manager and be responsible for preparing SEC reporting materials, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with SOX and other internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare SEC reporting materials, including Form 10Q and 10K, and assist in future offering documents
  • Analyze relevant financial data to ensure completeness and accuracy of global financials and consistency of financial disclosures
  • Comply with SOX and other internal controls over financial reporting
  • Assist in company implementation of new accounting and reporting requirements
  • Perform technical research as necessary
  • Interact with global controllership and independent public accountants on accounting and reporting matters
  • Identify and initiate process improvement teams for functional productivity
Requirements:
  • BS Accounting/Finance
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP and SEC Reporting
  • External Audit or External Reporting Experience
  • Strong oral and written skills
  • Self-directed and accountable
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Works well in teams with an ability to interact at all levels of the organization
  • 2-4 years experience working at Big 4 or similar public accounting firms, or industry related experience in an accounting and external reporting role

Pay Range (in local currency): $81,715.00 - $127,680.00

Chemours Level: 24

Annual Bonus Target: 6%
