Pediatric Speech Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric patients.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pediatric development, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, and be able to provide effective patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate pediatric patients' suitability for speech therapy and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapies for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Supervise Speech Language Pathologist Assistants and Clinical Fellows, when applicable.
  • Document patient progress and coordinate care with healthcare clinicians.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited program.
  • State licensure to practice as a Speech Therapist.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients and their families.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric development and communication disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

$85,000 - $110,000 per year.
