About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Therapy 2000, providing home-based pediatric speech, occupational, and physical therapy services in Westchase/Briar Forest/Energy Corridor.

This full-time, part-time or PRN position is based in our South Houston division. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with patients and their caregivers to develop personalized home exercise programs and ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy.
  • Collaborate with caregivers to create home exercise programs that promote patient progress.
  • Act as a vital member of your patients' medical neighborhoods, coordinating care with various providers and disciplines.
  • Maintain open communication with agency personnel to stay informed about expectations and standards.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.

Requirements:

  • A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
  • Flexibility to adjust priorities as needed based on business demands.
  • Ability to utilize common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser).
  • 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience in a home-health setting.
  • Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience.
