Position: Senior Accounting Specialist

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to become a vital part of our US Controllership team. This role involves a variety of accounting responsibilities, management reporting, and participation in the monthly closing procedures. The Senior Accounting Specialist will ensure timely and precise monthly analysis and reporting while adhering to established deadlines. A solid understanding of accounting principles and functions is essential for this position, allowing for both detailed and broad perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • · Assist in the month-end closing process by conducting necessary research and making corrective journal entries as required.
  • · Support balance sheet reconciliations for month-end, quarter-end, and annual closing periods.
  • · Record recurring journal entries for general ledger accounts pertaining to US entities.
  • · Facilitate the preparation of monthly management and investor reporting, including Non-GAAP metrics.
  • · Draft year-end technical accounting memoranda as necessary.
  • · Oversee special projects associated with new technical accounting standards.
  • · Evaluate and recommend potential process improvements.
  • · Create documentation to ensure that accounting policies and procedures are clearly defined.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • o Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • o Certified accounting designation is preferred.
  • o A minimum of 1 year of accounting experience.

  • o Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

  • o Advanced proficiency in Excel is preferred.
