In this role, you will assist the Property Manager in overseeing daily functions, managing staff, and enhancing tenant experiences. Our Mission:
At Flat Fee Landlord, we aim to simplify property management for all while fostering strong community ties. We are dedicated to upholding high service standards, nurturing positive tenant relationships, and promoting financial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the comprehensive management of the residential community, ensuring efficient operations and tenant satisfaction.
- Work alongside the Property Manager to create and execute strategic initiatives that align with tenant needs and enhance revenue.
- Oversee maintenance tasks to guarantee property standards are consistently met.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, promptly addressing any concerns or issues.
- Support lease negotiations with contractors in a timely manner.
- Help in marketing and advertising available units to attract prospective tenants and maximize occupancy.
- Contribute to the collection of receivables and the management of operational costs.
- Assist in formulating and managing annual budgets, including forecasting and variance assessments.
- Support the supervision of on-site staff and evaluate performance to optimize efficiency.
- Help achieve financial objectives and provide regular updates on financial performance.
- Assist in identifying and developing relationships with potential clients to broaden business opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends and market developments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in residential property management.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Prior experience in real estate is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Property Manager or in a comparable role.
- Strong understanding of property management and its financial components.
- Familiarity with regulations governing property management.
- Proficient in Resman, MS Office, and other relevant software.
- Customer-focused with a strong orientation towards results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Highly organized with effective time management skills.
- BS degree or CAM designation is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from $45,000 to $55,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
